Each Fall, a Calistoga music event celebrates the end of the "crush", which, here in the Valley, holds two meanings, the grapes are on the way to the bottle and the crowds are on the wane. The weather is temperate and there is time to relax before the holidays are upon us. That's where the Downtown Jazz and Wine Fest comes in.... A weekend of good music, food and fine wine just suits the bill. On Friday evening, October 31st, enjoy music in our usual clubs. On Saturday November 1, from 1 to 5:P we will be featuring live music venues and wine tasting throughout our downtown shops and galleries. On Sunday November 2, there will be wine and Blues in selected local wineries (with shuttle transportation available). Artists include many Bay Area Favorites from Calistoga's own Herb Gibson and Larry Vuckovich, to Alvon Johnson, Dick Conte, and more... Wineries participating in Saturdays tastings include Bennett Lane Winery, Sterling Vineyards, Cuvaison, Silver Rose Cellars, Calistoga Cellars, Chateau Montelena Winery and More...
